Lake Tahoe Summer trip

Day 1 – Secret Cove Sunset + Stargazing

Morning:

• Depart from San Francisco at 9:00 AM

• Optional shuttle from Reno Airport for extra fee

Afternoon:

• Arrive in South Lake Tahoe & check into the Airbnb

• Light lunch & relax

• Swim and unwind at Secret Cove, a peaceful and lesser-known beach

Evening:

• Group dinner at the cabin

Day 2 – Kayaking & Beach Hop

Morning:

• Breakfast at the Airbnb

• Kayaking at Nevada Beach

  • Rental not included: $50 per person

  • Explore the shoreline and hidden spots during a 1.5–2 hour session

Afternoon:

• Lunch (group picnic or local café)

• Relax and swim at Chimney Beach — quiet, scenic, and tucked away

Evening:

• Sunset at Cave Rock — short walk, epic view

• Group dinner at the cabin or a local restaurant

• Stargazing session under Tahoe’s clear night skies

Day 3 – Scenic Cruise + Trail Walk

Morning:

• Breakfast + coffee

• Easy walk along the Tahoe East Shore Trail — flat, scenic, and full of photo ops

Afternoon:

• Ride the Heavenly Gondola from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Ticket included: $48 per adult

with stops at:

• Observation Deck (~9,100 ft): sweeping panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada

• Summit Deck (~9,136 ft): optional scenic hikes or grab a bite at Smokehouse Grill

• Group brunch or lunch

• Pack up & depart Tahoe by 5:00 PM

• Return to San Francisco around 9:30 PM
