Day 1 – Arrival & Sunset

  • Airport pickup (Medford MFR, 12–1 PM)

  • Dinner & Sunset at Watchman Overlook

Day 2 – Hike, Explore & Stargaze

  • Visit Steel Visitor Center

  • Garfield Peak Trail (3.5 mi, moderate) or Discovery Point Trail (2.1 mi, easy)

  • Scenic viewpoints: Sinnott Memorial & Merriam Point

  • Lunch at Rim Village or Crater Lake Lodge

  • Stargazing at Rim Village / Lodge

Day 3 – Scenic Stops & Departure

  • Breakfast & checkout (10 AM)

  • Fumarole Bay Hike

  • Pinnacles Viewpoint stop (optional)

  • Depart for Medford Airport (2–3 PM)

Trip Agreement Highlights—Please Read Before Booking

By booking this trip with Nomadventures, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Liability Waiver: All participants join at their own risk. Nomadventures is not responsible for personal injury, lost items, or unexpected changes due to weather, closures, or external factors.

  • Punctuality Required: Late arrivals may miss scheduled activities or transportation. Participants are responsible for their own travel if they miss a departure.

  • No Alcohol or Drug Use: This is a drug- and alcohol-free experience. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the trip without refund.

  • Shared Accommodations: Beds and rooms may be shared with same-gender participants. We do not guarantee bottom bunks or private beds.

  • Deposit Policy: If you pay a deposit, the remaining balance is due 10 days before the trip. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation and loss of your deposit.

  • Transportation Policy: Group pickups are provided only from confirmed locations. Nomadventures is not responsible for individual transportation outside of the agreed route.

  • Itinerary Flexibility: All plans are subject to change. Itineraries and accommodations may shift due to weather, closures, or logistical needs. Flexibility is required.

  • Most of our travelers join solo. We create a friendly, welcoming space where everyone feels included—you’ll connect with others quickly and leave with new friends.

  • We help arrange carpooling a few days before the trip. You’ll either ride with a trip lead or be matched with someone driving from your area

  • To keep the trip social, rooms are shared (same gender). If you prefer your own space, we usually offer a private room upgrade for an additional fee — just ask!

  • You’ll get a full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before the trip. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable since we pre-book accommodations and logistics in advance.
